Development Education
We have gathered the best Development Education Resources we could find from across a wide range of development education organisations as well as various international development organisations. We have also included some tried and tested workshop materials from our own.

Global Justice
Here you can find resources, activities and videos, that can help you explore the wider issues of global justice. These activities can be used with youth groups, small groups and churches.

Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is one of the fastest growing crimes in the world, every 30 seconds a child is trafficked and there are over 40 million people living in modern day slavery. Here you can find resources suitable to use with youth groups to help them understand this issue and how we can tackle human trafficking by looking at its root causes.

Sustainable Living
At Tearfund Ireland we believe that a better world is possible, that we can respond to the injustice of global poverty in our everyday life and that we are the generation that, together, can end extreme poverty.
We believe that living justly is not a theme to cover once in a while, to sign a petition, give some money, pray a bit and forget about it. We believe it is about integrating rhythms and habits into our lifestyle that will not only change us, but will make a difference to the lives of the world’s poorest people.

Hunger
Every day 1 in 9 people around the world go to bed hungry, a staggering 800 million people. 1 in 3 lacks the nutritious food needed to lead a healthy life. Millions of parents struggle to feed their families every day and more than 2 million children die of hunger and malnutrition every year.
Eradicating hunger and malnutrition is a key part of our work. Not only do the consequences of not enough – or the wrong – food cause suffering and poor health, they also slow progress in many other areas of development like education and employment.

Refugee Crisis

Climate Justice
The impact of climate change can be felt in every country in the world and the poorest nations are the most affected. They are also the least responsible. The increasing occurrence and intensity of extreme weather events like drought, floods and hurricanes drive people from their homes; jeopardise their livelihoods and leave communities in desperate situations. Climate change increases the risk of conflict, hunger and poverty.
