Ways to Give

One-Time

You can give to a specific area of our work or to where the need is greatest.  Your donation, of any amount, will make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. 

Monthly Gift

Your regular monthly giving enables us to plan effectively and support our local partner organisations.  Through general donations we are able to provide sustainable interventions to the underlying causes of poverty and respond quickly to when emergencies occur. 

Give as a church

Many Irish churches view Tearfund Ireland as their Missions Partner and regularly give as part of their annual tithe or international missions programme.  Talk to us to explore how your church can become more connected with us. 

Tax Efficient Giving

If an individual donates €250 or more within a calendar year, Tearfund Ireland can claim back the tax you have paid on the amount you’ve donated.  This is a benefit set up by the Irish Government to benefit charities.  For example, a donation of €250 becomes €362.32 when we can claim back the tax.  All you need to do is complete the relevant CHY form. Will / Legacy

Leaving a gift in your will is a wonderful way to make a lasting contribution even after your death.  We have heard from families who have been moved by their loved one’s gift in their will.  Contact us if you would like more information.

  • Where does my money go?

    That’s up to you. You can give to Tearfund Ireland’s work as a whole or direct your donation to a particular area of our work or country. If you would like to direct your church’s donation to a particular fund,  contactinfo@tearfund.iewhen you send in your gift.
