When we come together, we can make a difference


Throughout the Bible, God demonstrates how He can use the smallest of offerings, no matter the size or circumstances. God didn’t choose David to take on Goliath because he was strong and tough; it was David’s faithfulness, courage and trust in God that helped him defeat the giant. It’s not always about how much we have; it’s about our willingness to trust God with our offering – and let him use it to do something great.

When we come together, we can make a difference. When Mihret first joined a Self Help Group in 2015, she had been living in deep poverty without an education and was hesitant it would effect change. How would saving a few cents each week with a group of women in rural Ethiopia really make an impact? How could God possibly take her mere pennies and create something bigger?


But what she didn't see, God did. He knew that her small act of faith would lead her places she never expected! Ten years later, Mihret runs a coffee business, employs those in her community, and business leaders now come to her for advice.

God took her faithfulness in saving a few cents each week and transformed her life in a wonderful and unexpected way!


Just like David and Mihret, a lot can be accomplished with little. There may be times when we may not have much to spare, but God can multiply our offerings beyond our imagination.

This spring, we are asking you to join us in bringing our small offerings to God and watch what He can do!
