About Us
Tearfund Ireland
We’re Christians passionate about ending poverty. Working through the church community, we are committed to seeing lasting local change, whole communities lifted out of poverty for good. When disasters strikes, we respond quickly doing everything we can to protect the most vulnerable.
History
Tearfund Ireland’s history is steeped in a movement of Evangelical Christians in the UK and Ireland who had a conviction of faith to respond to the millions of people suffering across the world due to extreme poverty, injustice, natural disasters and suffering in the late 1960s.
Where Your Money Goes
Tearfund Ireland is committed to maintaining the highest standard of professionalism throughout our work. Our finances are used effectively to keep organisation costs low and to ensure that help reaches those in greatest need.
