Tearfund Ireland arrange a variety of exciting events throughout Ireland every year and we love our supporters to come along, get engaged and be inspired!

Upcoming events are listed below. Please contact us for further details in relation to any of these events.

  • National Coffee Morning with Spirit Radio

Join us to make to make a world of a difference with our annual coffee morning which stretches from church halls to, urban kitchens and toddler groups around the country. Partnering with Spirit Radio who broadcast live from some of the venues, it’s a great morning to learn more about our work, meet some new friends and try great Ethiopian coffee while helping us to resource our work overseas.

Contact Niamh Daly at if you can host a coffee morning and visit by Spirit Radio to your home, school or workplace. We would love to hear from you!

  • VHI Women’s Mini Marathon

The Annual VHI Women’s Mini Marathon is a great opportunity to get fit in early spring as the evenings lengthen and your neighbours surface from being indoors for the winter. Walk or train to run the largest women’s sporting event in the world and get supported by your family friends to help us stamp out dire poverty in some of the darkest parts of the world. Register with VHI to participate and let us know that you want to support our work and we will send you out a Tearfund Ireland t-shirt and sponsorship card.

  • Walk of Hope

Bring your family and friends to walk Bray head and participate in our ‘Walk of Hope’ on the October Bank Holiday Monday. Your help will support the ongoing work of Tearfund Ireland while standing in solidarity with the millions of people affected by war, famine and poverty.
