Your donations make such a difference. By giving, you take part in the work going on with those in greatest need around the world. The support of many volunteers like you has helped Tearfund’s church partners transform the lives of thousands of people living in poor communities around the world.

Every year we have planned events which you can join.
But also come up with your own ideas and events, and download a sponsorship form to use.
What can my donation achieve?
Here are some examples of what it costs to run a HIV/AIDS project in 
Uganda.
- €10 could buy a uniform and stationary for an orphaned child.
- €21 could provide food for a month for someone on HIV medication
- €64 could buy 2 bicycles for a volunteer to visit more than 20 sick people per week
- €126 could buy 10 goats and restore family assets for 2 families
- €315 could build a traditional house for a family in need
Where does my money go?
That’s up to you. You can give to Tearfund’s work as a whole or direct your donation to a particular area of our work or country. If you would like to direct your church’s donation to a particular fund, just let us know when you send in your gift.
How do I do it?
Get some friends together, brainstorm ideas, make a plan, just do it.
Once you’ve worked hard to raise the cash, Tearfund puts it to work in a variety of ways across the world to help poor communities. Send your donations to our office or by credit card online.
